Question: Good multiplayer games?

What are some good multiplayer games of any sort, besides runescape, combat arms and World of warcraft. I'm giving out best answer to the person who can recommend/ give me the best game that I find most enjoyable. Thanks!

If you have an Xbox 360, I recommend Halo 3. If you're playing on the PC, then get Modern Warfare 2. It has a vast multiplayer experience, tons of people play it. In all, if you want multiplayer get an Xbox 360 and try Xbox LIVE, best multiplayer experience I've ever had.
